This is a park full of colour and pattern and loaded with the joyous language of picnicing. Located in the heart of ethnic food district Sandringham, the tablecloths and blankets are permanently out, inviting you to picnic and play in the park with your neighbours.

Made with the help of local school children, a pebble mosaic in the form of a Rangoli forms a welcome mat to the park. Kids can escape to the wilderness of a natural playground with plenty of room for invention, imagination and fun, while Mum and Dad can dine at the picnic tables or relax on the village green.

 

This is a park created from the identity of it’s place - food, culture and community make it what it is. It will be a welcome oasis for locals and visitors alike.
